When in 1957 at Courneuve,
Roger SURGET first started providing services to an petrol company,
he never imagined that he would turn it into serious profession.
For the last 40 years now the SURGET Company has specialised
in providing customised copacking to the petroleum, pesticide and
chemical industries
and our expertise is recognised throughout Europe.
Suffice to say that we are now a trusted service provider
to the giants of the European petrochemical industry, and that the
inbuilt sense of service
which characterises our Company has resulted in a flexible and efficient
organisational structure.
SURGET is able to offer one of the most comprehensive services on
the market.
Whether the requirement is for metallic, plastic or complex cardboard
containers,
we are able to adapt our packaging to any capacity between 50 ml
and 230 litres and even up to 1000 litres.
Our Company has more than 60 storage tanks available, (in iron,
stainless steel, aluminium and resin)
with a total capacity of close to 2000 cubic metres, some of which
are equipped with mixers and heating coils,
allowing a very wide range of products to be manufactured on site,
combined, stored or directly packaged.
Our factory is extremely well situated, at the crossroads of road
and rail communications between
the industrial areas of Northern Europe, Normandy and the Paris
Basin and from there over the whole of France.
There is easy road access via two exits on the Autoroute du Nord
(the A1).
Access for supply and despatch is further ensured by a direct rail
link and a dock on the river Oise.
This current production site of 35000 sq.metres, including a building
of 5200 sq. metres was built in 1994
and conforms to environmental protection standards.
The complex was completed in 1996 by the addition of another building
(A.D.F de 850sq.metres)
designed specifically for storage and packaging of inflammable materials.
None of these services can be provided without a guarantee of service
quality.
SURGET therefore underwent the process of ISO 9002 accreditation,
which was gained in May 1997,
after establishing a quality control laboratory and recruiting a
chemical engineer.
